Application Deadlines

Freshman Applicants

Applications for freshman open at the beginning of September and close at the beginning of November. Any applications received after the posted deadline will be considered on a space-available basis only. Applicants will be notified on the decision of their application at the beginning of February (For applicants meeting the November 15 deadline, Late March for applicants applying after November deadline). Transfer Applicants

Deadlines for transfer students vary depending on the student's anticipated term of enrollment. Visit the Application Deadlines website to determine the appropriate deadline. Applicants should plan to apply six to nine months prior to their preferred enrollment date.

Transfer Students

Transfer requirements can change from year to year, so applicants are encouraged to check the latest requirements and application deadlines. All required courses must be completed or in progress at the time of application and successfully completed prior to the beginning of the admission term.

Community college students must complete an Associate of Arts, meet the required grade point average (GPA), complete the required prerequisite courses, and meet the foreign language and immunization policies of the University of Florida before transferring.
