R-122 Equipment Instructions

R-122 AV Instructions

Room 122 contains a complete audiovisual system with cameras and audio systems specially utilized for recording webinars and hosting presentations to an audience.

  • Using the touchpad controller

The touchpad is used to control the projector output and the output of the small-screen video feed. The touchpad may also be used to adjust volume. There is a button in the center of the touchpad, once launched, which can be used to power down the projector.

  • Presentation Equipment

The room has both a student/attendee camera as well as a presenter camera, of which the output can be displayed on the small screen atop the podium. There is also a microphone attached to the podium.

  • Tips and tricks

We recommend before your audience gathers to set the projector to display a blank screen. This can be achieved by using the "Blank" option on the podium touchscreen. When ready to present, you may then select the "Computer Extended" screen to display the full-screen slideshow on the projector.

It is recommended to give a trial run of your presentation ahead of time, possibly creating a Zoom recording to ensure each input peripheral is properly functioning.

A slideshow remote is available in the front office, if it is not already present on the podium.
