  • Combined Degree Program

    Combined Degree Program
    One-Year Master's Degree (Non-Thesis)

This degree program requires a total of 30 credit hours. It can be completed in two semesters and one summer term. Students may take four courses in the Fall, four courses in the Spring, and two courses in the Summer.

Students may select an area of concentration within Agricultural and Biological Engineering and must complete 30 hours of graduate level course work, at least 15 of which must be from Agricultural and Biological Engineering. With the approval of the supervisory committee, students may take coursework in related areas from other departments including both engineering management and technical courses.

  • Online Masters Non-Thesis Program

    Online Masters Non-Thesis Program

The University of Florida Agricultural and Biological Engineering Online Non-Thesis Graduate Program seeks to break digital barriers in an effort to connect everyone with the opportunity to join the Gator Nation, regardless of their location. Through our fully online program, students will advance their knowledge and skillset all while earning a degree that will help them reach their professional goals.

Graduate Certificates

  • Biological Systems Modeling

    Certificate in Biological Systems Modeling

The ABE graduate studies program offers an opportunity for students to earn a certificate in biological systems modeling. Engineering and science graduate students and professionals will be trained to model a wide range of biological and environmental systems. A tiered course structure introduces students to conceptual modeling, model development and design with high-level programming languages, and an overview of the model application to simulation of biological systems.

All applicants to approved certificate programs on campus must use the centralized application with the Office of Admissions. To visit the Office of Admissions application, click here.

For information, contact Dr. Rafael Munoz-Carpena.

  • Applications in AI-Based Smartag Systems (CALS)

The Agricultural and Biological Engineering graduate studies program offers an opportunity for students to earn a certificate in Applications in AI-based SmartAg Systems through the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS).
