Dr. Axel Ritter worked at TREC on his Ph.D. dissertation from the Universidad de Córdoba (Spain) during May 1 - October 15, 2002. Dr. Rafael Muñoz-Carpena was his major professor and supervised his dissertation, entitled: "Inverse modeling of water flow and solute transport in volcanic soils to assess soil and water pollution from agrochemicals".
He graduated with honors (summa cum laude) in Spain in December 2002. He currently works as a researcher at ICIA and adjunct professor at University of La Laguna (Canary Islands, Spain).
