Teaching and preparing young adults with disabilities for work in the agricultural sector
This program combines hands-on skill training, classroom instruction, and work-based learning experiences to engage participants in the agricultural sector. The team of UF/IFAS faculty, certified Master Gardeners, and dedicated volunteers work with the participants in the greenhouse, garden, classroom, and on field-trips, to foster critical skills necessary to be successful in the workplace.
