Objectives
- Seek feasible chemical path to synthesize biomonomers or polymers as the substitute of its petroleum-based counterparts and explore its fundamental reaction mechanism;
- Synthesize water-based biocompatible nanocomposite with the encapsulated nanohybrid for improved performance (barrier to water, oxygen, UV light and heat , antibacterial properties)
- Investigate the fundamental relationship of the reaction, structure and properties of the synthesized biopolymer system.
