Mr. Singh commenced his academic pursuits with a BS in Agriculture at Banaras Hindu University in Varanasi, India. Subsequently, he earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Remote Sensing from the Indian Institute of Technology at Roorkee, India, and an MS in Agroecology (Biological Sciences) from Texas Tech University, United States. In his professional domain, Mr. Singh served as the Crop Production and Planning Manager for Africa Agritech S.A. in West Africa. This experience led him to found GreenHand Africa, an entrepreneurial venture dedicated to enhancing crop production and implementing tech-based SmartAg systems in sub-Saharan Africa. Currently, as a Ph.D. student, Mr. Singh's research focuses on 4R Nutrient Stewardship for Best Management Practices (BMPs). His work emphasizes advancing Nitrogen Management and Precision Irrigation, employing sophisticated methodologies such as Crop Modeling and Machine Learning tools. This research aligns with his enduring commitment to the intersection of sustainable agriculture and technological innovation. |
