The Center for Remote Sensing hosted the Future Directions at NASA Earth Science webinar featuring Dr. Thomas Wagner, Associate Director for Earth Action in NASA's Earth Sciences Division.
During the webinar, Dr. Wagner shared insights into NASA Earth Science priorities, emerging initiatives, and opportunities for future research collaboration, emphasizing the role of Earth observations and remote sensing technologies in addressing environmental and societal challenges.
The event provided our 50+ registrants of faculty, researchers, and students with the opportunity to engage directly with NASA leadership through discussion and Q&A, helping strengthen connections between the UF research community and national Earth science efforts. Registrants also had the option to schedule individual 15-minute meetings with Dr. Wagner to discuss their research interests and potential areas for collaboration.
